preservatives, dyes or fragrances. That's why you won't find lotions and
conditioners on our shelves.

- Provide top-quality products that use only plant-derived ingredients
- not animal-derived ingredients such as beeswax, honey, milk and silk -
and that have not been tested on animals.

- Provide high quality products without nut-oils or nut-butters. We've worked
closely with soapers, aromatherapists and chandlers to avoid such ingredients as
almond oil and shea nut butter. We cannot claim however that our products are
totally free from all traces of nuts.

- Provide unique products from small enterprises; especially fairly traded items
by indigent crafters from around the world who strive for economic freedom and
independence by receiving fair pay for their work.

- Provide children the opportunity to stretch their creativity and compassion
while learning new skills. In our scentshops, they can create scented items to
sell under their own label - Chatham Kids Make Scents.
Proceeds from these sales go the the
Columbia-Greene Humane Society.
